- About this notice
This notice explains what Reframr Ltd stores in your browser when you visit reframr.io or use the Reframr app at app.reframr.io, and why. It covers cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage. Our Privacy Policy explains more about how we handle personal data.
- The short version
- We only store what Reframr needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your choices and your work in progress, and remembering a client’s details on share links.
- We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics, and nothing we store is shared with advertisers.
- Because everything we use is needed for Reframr to work, we do not ask for your consent and there is no cookie banner. If we ever add advertising or analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
- What we store in the app (app.reframr.io)
Signing in
- firebaseLocalStorageDb (browser database), set by Google Firebase for Reframr. Keeps you signed in. Stays until you sign out.
- Google sign-in cookies, set by Google. Only if you choose “Sign in with Google”: Google uses its own cookies to sign you in securely. See Google’s privacy policy.
Share links
- reframr_identity_[share link] (local storage), set by Reframr. When a client comments on a share link, remembers their name and email so they do not have to type them again. Stays until they click “Not you?” or clear their browser storage.
Your settings and work in progress
- Settings, preferences and drafts (local storage and session storage), set by Reframr. Remember choices you make in the app, such as layout and tool settings, and keep unsaved work, such as drafts and chats, so a reload does not lose them. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Local storage stays until you clear your browser storage.
Technical
- Firebase heartbeat (browser database), set by Google Firebase. A technical record that helps the Firebase software Reframr runs on work correctly. It holds no personal information.
Things that store nothing
- Error reports (Sentry): if something goes wrong in the app, a report is sent to Sentry, as our Privacy Policy explains. Sentry stores nothing in your browser.
- Fonts (Google Fonts): the app loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address but stores nothing in your browser.
- What we store on our website (reframr.io)
Our website sets no cookies and loads no advertising or analytics. It stores two small technical items in your browser, neither of which contains any personal information:
- elementor (local storage and session storage), set by Elementor, the tool our website is built with. Counts page views and visits on this website so that pop-up messages are shown at the right time. It is not shared with anyone and holds no personal information.
- wpEmojiSettingsSupports (session storage), set by WordPress. Checks whether your browser can display emoji. Cleared when you close the tab.
The website also loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address but stores nothing in your browser. The waitlist form sends your email address straight to Reframr and stores nothing.
- How to control it
You can delete cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings, or block them. If you do, you will be signed out and the app will forget your settings and unsaved work, and some parts of Reframr may not work.
- Changes and contact
We will update this notice if what we store changes, and change the date at the top. Questions: privacy@reframr.io.
